Breeding, showing and saving quality equine friends

These horses are owned by others--not my personal horses, just trying to help get them rehomed. I do not know these horses personally. I am just listing what I have been told. If I do know the horse personally I will post that near the horse.

First up --In Chatham, MI (in the UP)

2 yr old ApHC colt Treasure,

This is Treasure: He is the dark Brown Snocap. He is registered ApHC #653304. Born June 2007 He stands quietly for my Farrier and ties nicely while I groom him and handle his legs, feet and his ears and body all over. He is doing very well . He is a good boy. Anyone with the slightest bit of horse sense can make a really nice companion out of this guy. I wish I could do it. He is lovely isn't he. He is so graceful when he moves. I would like to have $800.00 OBO for him. SOLD

Next is Bambi my ApHC mare #634862. She was born March 2004.
She has been trail ridden and is a very nice ride. The first time I rode Bambi off the property she was 3 yrs old. We rode past a guy cutting trees down with a chain saw in his yard, a truck, a bulldozer, a racoon family that hopped out of a tree into the trail right in front of us, and she only flinched a bit but did not break her gate from a trot or walk. She is a family type horse. With a bit more training and riding she could be trusted with children. She loves kids. When I was a headstart bus driver, my kids use to visit us and Bambi followed them around sniffing their hair . When they left the corral she tried so hard to go with them. She was so soft and gentle with them. They were so small and she seem to know that they were fragile too.  The parents thought she was so cool. She is friendly. Always in your pocket, wondering what you are doing, and she will open the tack room door, assuming I have the hook off, and stick her head inside to see if I am getting the grain measured out properly. She is a sweetie.
I would like to see her go to a home with a kind child or an adult that really appreciates what it is to have a horse as a companion. Bambi could be someones best friend. SOLD

The next  is Jimmy. I will have to get a better one of him.
He is the one on the left. He is a breeding stock Paint.

His momma is my Dandy girl . She is a reg APHA and his daddy was a AQHA Skipper W bred. Jimmy is a light red color almost dun, red line back with barring. His color is gorgeous.
Jimmy is ready for a rider. I had him ready last fall when I got really ill and could not mount him.
I had him walking up to and standing next to the mounting block while I placed my foot into the stirrup and put weight in it. I could do it while I rose up and I slapped the saddle and his butt. He waited patiently. I usually do this for at least 4 sessions before I mount. After the second session I got really sick. He was doing so well by then too.
He has had round pen training leading up to that point and now he is ready to move on to the next step. A ride.
He stands quietly for my farrier and to be groomed and a fly spray bottle all over his body. He is the first one to meet you at the gate. Jimmy is a great guy. He is stout and has a strong build. Nice strong legs. I hate to see him go at all, he was my baby from the day he was born. SOLD
If you have questions let me know. Most important thing is for the horses to have nice forever homes.
